Residents Excited for New Outdoor Amenities to Open at Treesort
It’s that time of year again—the flowers are starting to bloom, the sun is beginning to stay out later (finally), and, of course, Gainesville, Georgia’s best new apartment complex, Treesort, is organizing a calendar of great activities.
Since we opened our doors last year, we have been committed to providing an unparalleled living experience with a unique sense of community. As residents are fully moved in and friendships are beginning to kindle, this year will be unlike any other.
One of the things that makes Treesort so conducive to hosting outdoor events is the covered outdoor relaxation area, complete with a top-notch stage and amphitheater. This is the perfect place to enjoy an evening with friends (or by yourself!) with the always breathtaking Georgia sun setting in the background.
Our team is always looking for new opportunities to host events in this dynamic, with several already planned and many more in the works. Keeping that in mind, here are just a few outdoor events, experiences, and amenities you can enjoy at Treesort this spring and summer.
Live Music
Ever since the early days of Ray Charles and Otis Redding, Georgia has long been home to some of the best music in the country. This is particularly true in Northern Georgia, where Atlanta, Gainesville, and other cities continue to produce talented musicians across all genres.
This year, Treesort plans to tap into this well-established musical tradition and plans to feature several different live artists at our outdoor amphitheater. Is there a better way to spend a spring evening than listening to your favorite style of music, surrounded by a serene, green backdrop? And best of all, these concerts will be happening right here, in your very own community.
Poetry Readings
There are also plenty of talented poets and writers in our area, and, as a luxury apartment complex committed to uplifting our community, we plan to showcase poetry and literary readings.
Be sure to stay tuned for our open-mic poetry readings, which will be open to both first-timers and more experienced performers. This might be the perfect opportunity if you have a creative work you’d like to share with the world.
Yoga on the Patio
Placed in a calm, visually pleasing setting, our patio is also the perfect spot for yoga. It will be offered periodically throughout the year and open to residents and guests. Our yoga sessions will be led by a welcoming instructor who hopes to create a space where everyone can gather, regardless of their yoga experience or ability.
Yoga has proven to have numerous physical and mental health benefits, including reduced stress, increased flexibility, a healthier heart, and more. If you’re free during any of our guided yoga sessions this season, we encourage you to check them out.
Treesort Dog Park
Of course—as our residents have been sure to let us know—one of the primary reasons people choose to live at Treesort is our top-notch dog park. The dog park includes a wash station, covered seating, social areas, and more. It is the perfect place for our four-legged friends—and their two-legged companions—to get to know each other better.
Local Wine Tastings
Due to its proximity to the coasts, network of waterways, and relatively warm climate, Georgia has proven to be one of the best states for wine in the United States. According to Explore Georgia, the state is currently home to 57 licensed wineries, about twice as many as there were just ten years ago.
Georgia is experiencing a wine renaissance. We hope to take advantage of that by offering casual, enjoyable wine tastings right here at Treesort. Be sure to watch for upcoming vendors—and let us know which wines you want to be featured!
Connections to the Great Outdoors
Ultimately, the most important part of Treesort’s mission is making sure that each of our residents can connect to the beautiful natural world around them. Ever since Treesort was first conceived as an idea, we’ve strived to make this connection as apparent as possible (we even included it in our name!).
And it’s a great time of year to gather outside. Whether you plan a relaxing afternoon by the pool, want to go hiking at any of our many nearby parks and trails, or want to enjoy the activities mentioned above, there is certainly a lot to look forward to here at Treesort.
